Verdara is a managed private estate ecosystem — one-acre private estates in the Gunjvani–Velhe country near Pune, held within a landscape kept while you are away.
West of Pune, the land turns green and quiet. The Gunjvani backwaters catch the light at dusk, and views of Torna and Rajgad mark the horizon. Mist gathers in the folds of the hills through the early hours, and in the monsoon the whole valley deepens and runs.
Land should not merely be owned. It should be held.
Most land is sold, and then left to you. The gate. The garden gone to seed. The caretaker who does not answer. Verdara was built so this does not happen. What you inherit on the day you arrive is a place already cared for.
There will only ever be a few estates here. An acre, and a finite valley, allow no more.
